Compensation: $15/hour

Work days/hours are flexible. Candidates should be based in the New York City area to support and attend events. Intern will work closely with the Education Director and Education Coordinator.

Scope of Work:
Project Based:

  • Conduct research on industry best practices, academic findings, and new developments in the field: Identify potential school partners and gather valuable insights to inform and enhance our programs. Demonstrate a strong curiosity and genuine interest in the field.
  • Track, update, and expand all education contacts:  Ensure that our records are accurate and up-to-date, and will assist in expanding our network by identifying and documenting new potential partners.
  • Collaborate with the Education team to optimize the use of technology and ACO business software: Assist in identifying and implementing efficient tech solutions to enhance departmental workflows and streamline operations.
  • Assist with coordination and research: Provide research on relevant subjects to support our educational module publishing program, and help to coordinate schedules and placement of ACO artists into our partner schools.

Ongoing:

  • Conduct school visits or view video of presentations for assessment purposes.
  • Assist the Education Director and Education Coordinator with performance documentation, outreach, and ticketing.
  • Tracking and collating assessment materials, Teaching Artist documentation, and curriculum resources as directed by the Education Coordinator.
  • Assist with regular tasks such as maintaining the department calendar, payroll & record keeping, and website maintenance.
  • Assist with materials and logistics surrounding site visits, special events, professional development, guest artist Education sessions, and other ACO Education activities.
  • Edit/archive/catalog documentation materials.
  • Meet regularly with the ACO Education team for updates, reporting and guidance.
