Isabelle Tseng
Isabelle Tseng (age 17) is a composer and violinist from Gainesville, Florida. Her music bridges cultures and draws inspiration from language to social commentary and the world around her. Her work was recently recognized by ASCAP’s Morton Gould Young Composers Award. She studies composition with Mr. Thomas Weaver. Isabelle has played violin in festivals including the BUTI Young Artists Orchestra, All-National Symphony Orchestra, the Honor Orchestra of America, and was recently awarded First Prize at the 2022 New York International Young Musician Competition. Driven by her love of diverse musical textures, she seeks new permutations of sounds.
