George Lewis

A new work for chamber orchestra (35 players) to be premiered by ACO on November 9, 2023 at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall.

George Lewis is an American composer, musicologist, computer-installation artist, and trombonist. He is Case Professor of American Music at Columbia University, and Area Chair in Composition, and Artistic Director of the International Contemporary Ensemble.
