La muerte camina

Created with the support of the national program National System of Art Creators 2018-2021, this work pretends an approximation between the pictorial cosmos, the poetic imaginary and the musical cosmos, I consider that the continuation in this exploration between the described universes has allowed strengthening and invigoration of an artistic language through the last years; Under this idea, I set out to take as a conceptual and metaphorical starting point a work of the same name by the artist Francisco Toledo, a work that, from my perspective, is a monumental work that contains an acute feeling of commotion, of the complex, of the spooky, of loneliness and despair. My musical work is a kind of musical reflection, an appreciation, of the sensory experience caused by the pictorial work. This work, was made with the idea of fast / fugitive / momentary sound mechanisms, full of "sobriety" (trying a mimesis with the depth, the impetus, transparency and power of the pictorial work), with which (later) they begin to generate processes of algorithmic evolution in the harmonic, contrapuntal, and timbral bodies, which will be gradually transmuted, generating new concomitant elements in constant evolution ", which will be unified again and again, to finally degrade and conclude with a very gradual and slow degradation.
