The ACO Compose Yourself! PRO program is designed to help college and post-college composers refine their skills, develop their voice, and gain the confidence needed to enter the world of the professional composer.
INTEREST IN ANY AND ALL GENRES IS WELCOME.
Our THEME this fall will revolve around how composers use elements of style and genre to develop and expand their work, work with larger ensembles, grow their voice, and become stronger orchestrators.
All Compose Yourself! classes are taught by ACO Education Director, Kevin James
This Class is for:
Students of COLLEGE AGE and beyond

Our readings session will take place in the latter half of January, but because of Covid, all specifics are TBD
Days and Times:
The class schedule is arranged by its members in coordination with Mr. James. Class meetings are conducted in a seminar style and are scheduled for 2 hours.
Tuition:
$300*
*Scholarships are not always available for the PRO class. However we encourage creative approaches for those who have need (such as unpaid internships).
