Interested in working with us? Apply using the form below, and include your desired start date and internship length in your cover letter.
All ACO employees, contractors, board members, guest artists, and participants are asked to sign this code of conduct and will be held accountable to it at all times.
ACO has paid internships available year-round, with flexible start dates and terms.
Internships are an opportunity to build a results-driven professional portfolio, build key skills, and widen your network – all while advancing ACO’s mission. We are happy to partner with your educational institution if you are interested in receiving college credit for your internship experience.
In conversation with staff, each intern will create a capstone project that the intern can take into their portfolio for future job searches. Previous internship projects have contributed meaningfully to ACO’s artistic programming and productions, educational initiatives, archive of commissioned works and recordings, and composer database.
